餐飲空間設計 ｜ 智利-Caracol Coffee House 卡拉科爾咖啡館
The interior design project for Caracol Coffee House is conceived as a spatial experience aligned with the brand’s philosophy: a place of pause, gathering, and everyday contemplation. The design seeks to create a welcoming and timeless atmosphere, using noble materials, a soft color palette, and natural elements that enhance a sense of comfort.
The layout is defined by a clear intention for flow and functionality. Various table typologies were organized to adapt to different uses: from individual clients working or reading, to groups sharing brunch or extended conversations. The proportions of the space were carefully studied to maintain a human and contained scale, avoiding overcrowding and ensuring comfortable, efficient circulation.
The interior features sand-colored painted brick walls, light woods, travertine marble in various formats, and textiles in soft blue tones, creating a serene and luminous atmosphere. The lighting design blends decorative and functional elements: pendant lamps with handcrafted shades add texture and warmth, while technical lighting ensures visual comfort throughout the day.
Vegetation plays a structuring role. It brings freshness and vitality to the interior, while also helping to naturally zone the space. In the exterior patio, the use of perimeter planters, potted trees, and ceramic screens creates a contained environment—protected from the immediate surroundings yet visually connected to the sky and natural light.
The entire project was developed with a sustainable approach, prioritizing durable, reusable, and efficient materials, simple construction solutions, and an honest reading of the available space. The handcrafted lamps are made from ropes found as marine waste, and the tabletop and kitchen surfaces are made of a material called Flex, which repurposes rubber and plastic from tires into usable surfaces.
Caracol Coffee House is the result of a design that balances functionality and emotion, with every detail carefully considered so that the user feels comfortable, welcomed, and truly part of the place.
Caracol 咖啡館的室內設計旨在打造一種與品牌精神相呼應的空間體驗——一處可供停留、相聚與日常沉思的所在。整體氛圍溫潤而恆久，透過精緻材質、柔和色調與自然元素的交織，細膩地提升空間的舒適與親和感。
空間規劃以流暢動線與實用機能為核心，脈絡清晰而有序。多元形式的座席配置靈活交織，既能滿足個人工作與閱讀的靜謐需求，也能容納共享餐敘或長時間交流的情境。比例拿捏經過縝密推敲，維持宜人的人性尺度，在避免擁擠之餘，亦確保整體使用的從容與效率。
材質語彙以沙色磚牆、淺色木質、不同規格的洞石大理石，以及低飽和藍調織品為主軸，營造出寧靜且通透的空間氣質。照明設計兼顧氛圍與機能，手工燈罩吊燈注入溫度與細節層次，輔以精準配置的技術照明，確保全天候的視覺舒適。
植栽在空間中不僅是裝飾，更是結構的一部分，為室內引入自然氣息，同時柔性地界定各區域。在戶外庭院，環繞式花壇、盆栽喬木與陶質屏風共同構築出相對靜謐的場域，在隔絕外界干擾的同時，仍保有與天空及自然光的開放連結。
整體設計貫徹永續思維，優先選用耐用、可循環再利用且高效的材料，並採取簡潔可行的施工方式，以提升空間使用效益。手工燈具以海洋廢棄繩索再製而成；桌面與廚房檯面則選用名為 Flex 的再生材料，將輪胎中的橡膠與塑膠轉化為可用的表面材質。
Caracol 咖啡館在功能與情感之間取得細膩平衡，透過周到的設計語言，使人於其中感到自在、被接納，並自然而然地融入這片空間。
